What If I Told You That You Can
Arrange Any Song Into Fingerstyle?
Fingerstyle arrangement is the closest the guitar can get to being a piano.
You play the chords, the melody, bass lines… all at the same time.
And every time I publish a new arrangement lesson, someone comments, “I’ll never be able to do that”.
Well… they’re wrong.
Fingerstyle arrangement only LOOKS a lot harder than it actually is.
Don’t believe me? Think about it this way: children can do it. Andrew Foy, young Sungha Jung, Marcin, and dozens of other young guitar players do it.
And if they can do it, so can you.
In fact, you ARE about to start doing it yourself.
Very soon, actually.
Learn to Make One Guitar Sound Like Three.
The Fingerstyle Arrangement Academy is a three-month masterclass.
It takes place over six live Zoom sessions with me, once every two weeks.
Each live session is one and a half hours long.
You’ll get nine hours of expert fingerstyle arrangement training directly from me.
You will learn the precise methods and the awesome tricks (and shortcuts!) that I use myself every time I create a new arrangement.
You will revolutionize the way you use those six strings. (By making them sound like 15.)
You will completely open up the possibilities of your fretboard. You will never look at the fretboard the same way again.
I am going to answer your questions and I will use your favorite songs in my live demonstrations, so you can see exactly how I myself put into practice everything that I’ll be teaching you.
And the coolest thing? Once the Arrangement Academy starts, I will send you a link to our special dedicated Google Drive folder where you’ll be able to upload videos of your progress and your work-in-progress arrangements, so I can give you feedback during the live sessions.
Here is what we’ll cover in our six live sessions:
Live session 1
Chord-and-Melody Connections on the Guitar
(Get familiar with all the basic chord-scale connections)
Live session 2
Arranging simple Chord-and-Melody Progressions
(Transcribing melody and connecting it with the chords of the song)
Live session 3
Advanced Chord-and-Melody Connections on the Guitar
(Get familiar with the more complex chords and melody options)
Live session 4
Arranging Advanced Chord-and-Melody Progressions
(Moving bass lines, transcribing complex melodies, and more)
Live session 5
Arranging Solos and Instrumentals Into Fingerstyle
Live session 6
Putting it All Together
(Arranging full songs that include solos)
You will watch other players and decipher what they’re playing ON THE SPOT. It will no longer look like impossible magic to you – because you’ll know how to do it yourself.
You will see the guitar the way I see it.
Once you finish the course, you will be able to do what 99% of guitar players wish they knew: how to take any piece of music and turn it into a fingerstyle arrangement.
The next class of the Fingerstyle Arrangement Academy starts on Sunday, April 11th.
The live sessions will take place at the same time every two weeks and will start at 11:00 AM Washington and California time, which translates to:
- 2:00 PM Canada, New York and Florida time
- 8:00 PM Germany and Greece time
- 7:00 PM UK time
- 12:30 AM India time
- 6:00 AM Australia time
Miss a session?
I’ve got you covered!
Recordings of all the sessions will be posted for all participants to download right after each session ends. You can still email me your questions and post your work in progress (optional) so I can give you feedback in the following session.
